Korean Dramas: So far, So good…4. You’re beautiful

he's beautiful

Again, I am continuing to expand on my favorite kdramas (korean dramas) mentioned here. Anyways, this is #4.

Tittle: You’re Beautiful / Release year: 2009 (Korea)

Watch on viki.

Watch on dramafever.

he's beautiful

Official Summary:

Go Mi Nam, whose name literally means “handsome,” has it all – good looks, a place on the teenage idol boy band A.N.Jell, and legions of fans. But when a plastic surgery procedure gets botched, he is forced to secretly go to the United States to have it corrected. The band manager asks Mi Nam’s twin sister, Mi Nyu (Park Shin Hye), to pose as Mi Nam and take over his place in the band. As she tries to pretend to be a guy among the other band members – Hwang Tae Kyung (Jang Geun Suk), Kang Shin Woo  and Jeremy  – Mi Nyu causes problems within the band because some of the members know her real identity and some do not. Can the band survive the infiltration by a female or will it implode?

All that I can say about this drama that this was the cause and the drama that got me into watching korean drama.

I love this drama especially, funny moments like this:

Sometimes the sad moments:

Overall, this couple is what sticks with you, and makes you want to re-watch this drama, again and again, until you literally memorize the drama line for line.

This is overall my most favorite songs (2) from the drama:

Park Shin Hye- Without Words:

Jang Geun Suk-What Should I do?:

If you like dramas like this one, involving singing and boybands+superstars, try K-POP Extreme Survival on viki.

Anyway, love this couple, last I heard they are/ were dating in real life too.

Also, you can catch Park Shin Hye in her new drama , Heirs; He who wears the crown.

And Jang Geun Suk, in another phenomenal drama called Love Rain.

he's beautiful

Hope you find this post informative, I know I would ( but I am biased).

Until next time,

Cristi Ray
